Cleanup work is led by Layne Stansberry, our Owner and Senior Bookkeeper. With over 20 years of accounting experience she is especially skilled at cleaning up complex books and building processes that hold up over time.
How cleanup is priced
Cleanup is billed separately from monthly service, based on the time it takes. The cost depends on how far behind things are and how complex your books are, so we'll give you an estimate after reviewing where things stand.

Tailored proposal
We evaluate your books, determine how far behind they are and what's missing, and give you an estimate.
Cleanup & go
We work through it month by month and send you a list of questions as we go. You get reconciled books and clean reports, plus the option to move into monthly service.
Common questions
Can I do a cleanup without signing up for monthly bookkeeping?
Yes. Cleanup is available as a standalone project. Many clients move into monthly service afterward, but you don't have to.
How far back can you go?
As far back as you need. Cleanup is billed based on time, so the cost simply depends on how much catch-up work there is.
Will this help with my taxes?
Yes. You'll have clean, reconciled books and reports your tax professional can work from. We don't prepare or file tax returns ourselves.
My books are a real mess. Is that a problem?
No. Messy books are exactly what this service is for, and we've seen plenty.
